Protecting yourself from the virus shouldn’t mean suffering in pain. We’re working every day to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak, and we’re committed to keeping you safe while providing the orthopaedic care you need.

We’ve developed treatment guidelines based on recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and local government officials. Here’s how we’re currently working to keep you safe:

Surgery Guidelines (Updated March 2, 2022)

  • Pre-Op phone call
    During your pre-operative phone call, you will be asked a list of additional screening questions regarding any signs and
    symptoms of COVID – 19. It is important to your care and the health of others that you are forthright and open regarding any
    symptoms, you or close family members, significant others, or close friends may have.
  • Register online
    Please complete an on-line registration prior to your procedure with one One Medical Passport. Additional instructions will be
    given to you by your physician’s office staff or may be emailed to you.
  • Caregiver limit
    1 visitor per patient in clinical area; 2 visitors per pediatric patient (minor) in clinical areas (no changing out of visitors).
  • Discharge procedure
    The physician may contact your family member via phone after your procedure and discharge instructions will be given via
    phone by a nurse. Copies of your discharge instructions will be given to you when you go home.
