Only 6.5% of high school football players go on to play in college. As an underdog who was “too small” or “too slow” to play, the odds of Anthony Miller making it seemed impossible. And when he started as a walk-on at the University of Memphis, becoming a standout wide receiver seemed like even more of a long shot.
