Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Our PM&R physicians – or physiatrists – combine unique non-surgical diagnosis with comprehensive therapy and rehabilitation to improve the quality of life for their patients. Their goal is to develop a conservative, comprehensive treatment plan, taking into account a patient’s medical history to limit pain and restore function.

They use innovative technology to identify the source of pain and develop a patient-centered strategy to address and alleviate it.

Unlike other specialized physicians who treat specific musculoskeletal problems, physiatrists are trained to assess and care for a wide range of bone, joint, soft tissue, back and neurological disorders.
